Drumdrops In Ska is a collection of live drum tracks and samples in the style of ska music. Ska is a genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s and combines elements of Caribbean mento, calypso, American jazz, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll. Ska is characterized by a walking bass line, offbeat guitar or piano rhythms, and horn sections. To load the drum tracks into your DAW, you need to unzip the downloaded files and import them into your project. You can either drag and drop the files or use the import function of your DAW. The drum tracks are provided as 24 bit 44.1 kHz WAV files, so they should work with any DAW that supports WAVs. You can also use the templates that Drumdrops provides for some popular DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live, Reason, Reaper, and Studio One. These templates will load the drum tracks with the correct tempo and time signature, and also assign them to separate tracks and channels for easy mixing.

If you want to use the drum loops instead of the full drum tracks, you can also import them into your DAW or use the REX2 files if your DAW supports them. The REX2 files are sliced versions of the loops that allow you to adjust the tempo and pitch without affecting the quality. You can also rearrange the slices to create your own variations of the grooves.
